Dr. Rees Chapman brings more than three decades of clinical training and experience (primarily in private practice) to northern Virginia, having recently relocated from the Shenandoah Valley.  Over the years, he has provided a wide plethora of services including psychotherapy, assessments (psychological, neuropsychological, parenting, pain, bariatric, disability, Workers’ Compensation), consultation, supervision, and university instruction.  Recently, his primary focus has been upon the professional activity he most loves: psychotherapy.  His therapeutic methods are eclectic and integrative, drawing upon techniques which include gestalt, interpersonal, behavioral, cognitive, existential, and psychodynamic, while his overall approach is decidedly humanistic, client-centered and holistic.
