Tracey Powell has been providing individual therapy to teens and adults for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, and life transitions for over 15 years. She continues to enjoy seeing clients become more knowledgeable, supported, and free from old habits that have dragged them down. To help as many people as possible learn healthier ways of thinking and behaving, she facilitates groups on managing anxiety and improving social/interpersonal skills. She also enjoys helping parents learn positive parenting techniques for more effective management of challenging childhood behaviors.
Tracey earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her masters from Loyola University in Baltimore. She completed her Virginia counselor licensure requirements with George Mason University and The Women’s Center.
